The washing of the pashmina shawls after the embroidery is done over them, has been done along the banks of infamous River Jehlum in the heart of kashmir for the last many centuries and we are proud to keep this tiresome custom alive for our esteemed customers, The shawls are beaten against a rectangular stone repeatedly so that every mark and dirt washes off that it had collected over it for the months and years sometimes, during their making. It also symbolises the durability of our pashminas, which being feather-like delicate yet, strong and durable enough to withstand this harsh beating for washing.
